The Mobile city flag has a white background with two horizontal stripes, of red and blue. Centered on the white stripe is the city seal depicting each flag that has flown over the city.

The flag of the city of Mobile was adopted in December of 1968 and is the only official flag ever used for the city. Recently, it has been suggested that the Confederate flag should be removed from the design. Nothing has come of the suggestion as of yet. Among others, the city is known as "The City of Six Flags"
