Striking and unusual flag known to be flown in the Northwestern territories of what is now Indiana and Illinois during the American Revolutionary War. This flag is called the "George Rogers Clark Flag" but was likely never flown by General Clark during his wartime service. Instead it was associated with him as a flag flying over Fort Sackville/Vincennes after Clark and his forces captured the fort from British forces.
