The historical General Fremont flag has a white canton with a blue and red design. This flag was originally designed for General John Charles Fremont by his wife Jessie Benton Fremont in 1841. He carried it during his expedition westward into the United States territory on August 15, 1842.
the General Fremont flag with a blue canton is more commonly available today but the white canton is more historically accurate.
