It's built for indoor stick flag display, not a residential flagpole and flag. The bracket is aluminum and won't rust if it ever sees moisture, but it isn't designed or sized for outdoor house-mount use.
Installation Notes
The bracket comes with mounting screws. For wood or studs, the included screws are all you need. For drywall without a stud behind it, or for masonry, you'll want to use anchors appropriate for your wall — a quick trip to the hardware store covers it.
Hold the bracket against the wall at the height you want, mark the screw locations through the bracket holes, then pre-drill if you're going into wood or use a masonry bit and anchor if you're going into brick or block. Mounting at roughly eye level or just above works well in most rooms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this bracket fit my stick flag's dowel?
The bracket is sized for dowels from 1/4" to 3/8" in diameter. Most classroom and parade-style stick flags fall in this range. If you're unsure, measure the wooden dowel on your flag before ordering — it's the most common reason a bracket gets returned.
What if my stick flag dowel is slightly larger than 3/8"?
A 1/2" dowel can sometimes be coaxed into the bracket with a tight, snug fit, but it's not what the bracket is designed for and we don't recommend forcing it. If your dowel is consistently larger than 3/8", this isn't the right bracket for your flag.
Is this bracket suitable for outdoor use on a house or building?
No — this is an interior wall-mount bracket for stick flags. It's aluminum and won't rust, but it isn't designed for mounting a full-size flag on the exterior of a house or building.
Does it come with mounting hardware?

Can it hold more than one stick flag?
