The Zeus 20' Fiberglass Flagpole

The Aura series 20' fiberglass flagpole is our light weight option for businesses and residential applications. The structure is made from a Fiberglass Reinforced Composite (FRC) and is designed for long-lasting performance. The combination of fiberglass woven roving and polyester resin ensures maximum stiffness while retaining necessary flexibility.

With a robust Aliphatic Polyurea coating, your flagpole will look great for years, even when exposed to intense sunlight and weather conditions over time.

Ground Sleeve vs. Hinge Base

Ground sleeve flagpoles are installed by inserting the pole into a metal or PVC sleeve that is set in the ground with concrete. The sleeve provides stability while allowing the pole to be removed or replaced if necessary.

Hinge base flagpoles feature a specially designed hinged mounting system at the base that allows the entire pole to tilt down to the ground. This design makes it easy to perform maintenance, such as cleaning, flag changes, and repairs, without requiring a bucket truck or climbing equipment.

What is a Yardarm on a Flagpole?

A yardarm is a horizontal or slightly angled crosspiece that is attached to a flagpole, typically mounted at a significant height above the ground. It resembles the crossbars seen on traditional sailing ships, where they supported sails. On a flagpole, the yardarm serves as an additional mounting point for flags, allowing for the display of multiple flags simultaneously.
