We recently purchased a 3” pulley truck from you for our community flag pole. At what sustainable wind speed should we take the flag down to prevent damage to the pulley truck?
In the past we have taken our flag down during the winter months because we had a compromised pulley truck. We now are considering leaving it up year round except when it is very windy. What is very windy in your opinion, 20, 25, ,30?mph sustained winds?

A properly installed pulley shouldn't break but with consistent gusts over 30-40 miles per hour, it is suggested to take your flag down to prevent damage to flag and pole.
