3/4" Aluminum Flagpole Bracket

This cast aluminum bracket is built specifically for 3/4" diameter flagpoles — the smaller-than-standard size used on our 6-foot two-piece wood and aluminum residential poles. It mounts to your home, garage, post, or column with three screws (sold separately) and holds the pole at an approximate 45° outward angle for traditional residential flag display.

Choose from a clean white finish or classic silver to match your trim, siding, or other exterior hardware. The cast aluminum construction won't rust, won't rot, and won't warp in sun or weather — so once it's mounted, it stays put.

Important: This Is a 3/4" Bracket, Not a 1" Bracket

Not sure what diameter your pole is? Wrap a piece of string or measuring tape around the pole near the bottom end. A 3/4" pole will measure roughly 2-3/8" in circumference. A 1" pole will measure roughly 3-1/8". When in doubt, contact us with the brand or photo of your pole and we'll help you confirm.

About the Mounting Hardware

This bracket has three screw holes for mounting, but screws are not included. The reason is straightforward: every mounting situation is different, and the right fastener depends entirely on what you're mounting to.

Wood siding, vinyl siding, brick, stucco, fiber-cement, and aluminum trim each call for a different screw type, length, and anchor — and the wrong choice can mean the difference between a bracket that holds for decades and one that pulls out in the first windstorm. Rather than include a generic screw that may not be right for your home, we leave the fastener choice to you.

The three mounting holes are spaced 0.875" on center (top to bottom) and 1.375" on center between the bottom two holes. This compact triangular pattern fits between most siding courses and avoids most masonry mortar joints, but always verify your specific mounting surface before drilling.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my pole is 3/4" or 1"?

Measure the diameter at the end of the pole that will sit inside the bracket — or wrap a string around the pole and measure the circumference. A 3/4" pole has a circumference of about 2-3/8", and a 1" pole has a circumference of about 3-1/8". If you're still unsure, contact us with a photo and we'll help you identify it.

What screws should I use to mount this bracket?

That depends on what you're mounting to. Wood siding, vinyl, brick, stucco, and aluminum trim all require different fasteners and sometimes anchors. We recommend bringing the bracket to a hardware store and asking for screws appropriate to your specific mounting surface.

Will this bracket work outdoors?

Yes. Cast aluminum is naturally rust-resistant and weather-resistant, making this bracket suitable for outdoor mounting in all climates. The white and silver finishes are both designed for exterior use.

What's the difference between the white and silver finish?

Both finishes are functionally identical — the choice is purely aesthetic. White is often selected to blend with white trim, soffits, or vinyl siding. Silver is chosen for a classic metallic look or to match other silver hardware on the home.

What angle does the bracket hold the pole at?

The bracket holds the pole at an approximate 45° outward angle from the wall — the traditional display angle for residential flag brackets. The angle is fixed by the casting and cannot be adjusted.
