The One and Only
My step-dad served in the Merchant Marine in WWII. His ship was torpedoed in the North Sea and he spent almost a year in Sweden where the survivors were taken. The Veterans Marker on his grave is pretty much run of the mill and is not specific. I found the specific Merchant Marine one here at Gettysburg Flag Works. I ordered the bronze finish and it is fantastic. The quality is outstanding and the price was reasonable. It arrived packed the way my step-dad would have packed it and it was delivered in just 5 days. This is the only place to order veteran grave markers and I assume that their flags are every bit as remarkable. I will be traveling from NC to PA to place it on his grave in September and will send a photo at that time.
