Flagpole Delivery & Installation Resources
This guide is for residential homeowners and commercial users who need an overview of the entire process — from selecting the right flagpole and material to scheduling delivery and installation.
We've included troubleshooting tips, downloadable install sheets, and expert guidance so you know which pole is best for you.
What to Expect: Flagpole Delivery
- Scheduling: The freight company should call you at least 24 hours ahead to arrange a delivery window.
- Assistance: The freight company is under no obligation to help unload the flagpole — please have help available if needed.
- Inspection: Upon arrival, inspect the packaging and pole for any signs of damage. Check the shaft and accessories carefully.
- Damage Protocol: If damage is found, we recommend rejecting the shipment and contacting us immediately for a replacement. If the damage is minimal, note it on the carrier's bill of lading.
- Storage: We do not recommend storing the flagpole in its cardboard tubing outdoors. Remove it from the cardboard and store it in a safe, dry, secure area.
Important: If the accessory kit is damaged in any way, please accept delivery, note the damage on the bill of lading, and contact us for a free replacement.
How to Select a Site for Your Flagpole
Each property is unique and flag display needs vary, so there is no one perfect spot for every flagpole. However, keep these guidelines in mind:
- Be mindful of overhanging wires, buried utilities, and nearby structures or landscaping. Ensure the flag has ample room to rotate freely — even at half-staff.
- Choose firm, well-drained soil for the installation site. Avoid loose or recently disturbed soil that may compromise the flagpole's foundation.
- When in doubt, consult a construction professional or contractor for assistance in determining an appropriate site.
Before you dig: Call 811 (Dig Safe) to have public utilities identified and cleared. This process can take up to 2 weeks in some states.

Inspect the flagpole and accessories carefully. If any damage is noted, document it on the bill of lading and contact us immediately for a replacement.
Can I store my flagpole in its shipping tube outdoors?
No. We recommend removing it from the cardboard tubing to prevent moisture damage and staining. Store it in a dry, secure area.
How do I know if my installation site is appropriate?
Ensure the soil is firm and well-drained, and that there's sufficient clearance from obstacles like wires, trees, and structures. When in doubt, consult a professional.
