East Greenbush, NY – November, 2013 – In honor of veterans and as a fun way to make a difference, Gettysburg Flag Works is celebrating No-Shave-November.  Business owner Mike Cronin, a Vietnam era veteran, and the men on the staff are all putting down their razors to raise awareness and cash for AMVETS J.J. Yager Post 797 in Rensselaer County.  Their goal is to raise $5,000.

AMVETS, the most inclusive of the leading veterans organizations, is open to all who served honorably in the U.S. military. Over 1,400 posts assist veterans in their local communities and sup­port qual­ity of life pro­grams like Special Olympics and ROTC.  Information about this organization can be found at amvets.org.
