About U.S. Military General Officers Flags

U.S. military officer flags denote the star ranking of each branch’s most senior officers, known as flag officers. These flags are typically used to mark the position from which the officer exercises command, such as a headquarters, vessel or vehicle. Each branch of the military has four officer flags, distinguished by either one, two, three or four stars, the last of which is reserved for those officers with the highest rank.

All of the U.S. Military General Officers Flags offered by Gettysburg Flag Works are made in the USA of durable all-weather nylon for extended outdoor use. Available in four sizes, each flag features fully sewn applique stars, four rows of reinforced stitching and canvas header and brass grommet attachment for easy display.
