Always treat the flags with respect.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"figure aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/American-flag-on-the-ground.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3885\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/American-flag-on-the-ground.jpg\" alt=\"American flag on the ground\" width=\"456\" height=\"318\" \/><\/a><figcaption>This is never okay.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Never ball them up when you\u2019re not using them; don\u2019t let them touch the \u2018deck\u2019 (the ground); and if you see that they\u2019re starting to look tattered and frayed, take it down and get new ones.
