The organizational routines are set in place, with people getting the job done and moving onto the next task. Even in the best run and most professional organizations its easy to lose sight of the good works and awareness that we raise in the course of our everyday business. I wanted to stop and take a moment to reflect on the more meaningful aspects of the work that we do at <a title=\"Gettysburg Flag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Gettysburg Flag<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our website and online presence allows us the unique advantage of working with special organizations and people across the United States. Our past projects range from manufacturing a fully appliqu\u00e9d version of the <a title=\"New York State 9-11 flag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/9-11-we-remember-flag-choose-options\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">New York State 9-11 flag<\/span><\/a> that is flown at the Ground Zero memorial, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/911FlagGroupPhoto.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/911FlagGroupPhoto.jpg\" alt=\"911 Gettysburg Flag Works Group Photo\" width=\"518\" height=\"317\" \/><\/a>to the custom flag representing a Sandy Hook memorial charity (<a href=\"https:\/\/whereangelsplayfoundation.org\/\">http:\/\/whereangelsplayfoundation.org<\/a>). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/live-grace-fully.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/live-grace-fully.jpg\" alt=\"live Grace-fully\" width=\"524\" height=\"317\" \/><\/a>We\u2019ve been lucky enough to work with the Wounded Warrior project in <a title=\"Interesting Facts of the District of Columbia, George Washington &amp; the Washington DC Flag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/interesting-facts-washington-dc-flag\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Washington DC<\/a>, have made a \u201cquilted\u201d <a title=\"breast cancer awareness flag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/strength-breast-cancer-flag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">breast cancer awareness flag<\/span><\/a> that went to Texas,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/PinkRibbonMessageFlag.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/PinkRibbonMessageFlag.jpg\" alt=\"Pink Ribbon Message Flag\" width=\"436\" height=\"677\" \/><\/a> and <a title=\"Streamers and Pennants\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/custom-screen-printed-flags-banners-portfolio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">custom pennant banners<\/span><\/a> used at store openings in Hollywood!\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TopshopLA.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gettysburgflag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TopshopLA.jpg\" alt=\"Topshop LA Grand Opening\" width=\"505\" height=\"379\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Special projects like these take on a life of their own, and a special meaning, for everyone here, from the salesperson to the seamstress to our people in shipping. We like contributing to the special and unique story that each flag has, or evolves to have.
