These twelve signs are divided into to four groups that share broader characteristics although not as specific as the twelve signs. Aries is one of the fires signs. The lion represents the Leo's ability to become the social lion with the regal ways about him. Sagittarius is the last fire sign symbolized by the Archer. This earth sign suggests a stubborn nature but a supportive and gentle protector. The virgin symbolizing Virgo represents the need for Virgo's to attain perfection. They strive for an unreal purity. The Goat of the Capricorn represents the ability of the Capricorn to stand sure on territory where others would not venture. The twins of the Gemini are symbolic of the dual nature of this zodiac symbol. The scales are the zodiac symbols for Libras. The scales represent the balance and harmony that weigh on the Libra. They consider both signs and weigh consequences. The Aquarius is denoted by the water bearer. This water bearer represents the liberal Aquarius's desire to make the world's treasure available to everyone. The zodiac symbol for the Cancer sign is the crab. This symbolizes the hard exterior, or shell, that is carried by these internally vulnerable individuals.
