Birthday BannerIn planning a birthday party, the planner can really get creative. Throwing a birthday party is a lot different than throwing a baby shower or wedding shower because you don't have to stick with the same old theme. Decorations such as birthday banners and plates can be decorated with everything from Sponge Bob to Rainbow Bright and from Over the Hill to Legal Drinker parties; you have endless possibilities. Through it all, there is one piece of decoration, the birthday banner, which announces your theme and the birthday party itself. Though you can find an inexpensive banner at any discount store, you also have the option of printing out your own personal birthday banner. Printing your own birthday banner means having the ability to add or say anything you want. You control the look of your banner. If you have photo software on your computer you can add pictures. If this isn't an option, you can add clip art and pictures off of the web or your computer. In fact, many photo editing software that comes with your computer or digital camera, will have templates and designs for birthday banners. Now, all you have to do is change it around some to make it personal. When printing your birthday banner, you have two options. Print out a number of sections and fasten them together after they are all printed. This may be the easiest way for some who can't find banner paper. You have the option of making each individual section whatever shape you want. You can fasten them easily by punching holes in the paper and connected them with yarn or ribbon. However, if you have banner paper, you can print it all out on one paper. It will cost you a little more than regular paper, but it may be worth the saved time. You will need to choose the print option that tells the printer that you are printing a banner. This will be done either through your photo editing software in the process of telling the software to print, or by choosing a print option in your printer's preference box. Either way, you need to keep in mind which way you will print while you are designing your birthday banner. If you are printing sections, your birthday banner will need to be broken into different pages. If you are printing the whole thing on banner paper, you can keep it all on one page. If you have any questions, refer to your printer's or software's instructions for printing a banner. |
