	France is a republic located in Western Europe. The flag was introduced in May of 1794 and has been used continuously since 1848. The colors, known as the French Tricolore, were introduced during the French Revolution. The revolutionary cockade was made up of blue and red, the livery colors of Paris. The King added the white to symbolize the royal white cockade of the House of Bourbon.

Indoor Mounting Kits (Flag NOT included) These indoor kits have been specially assembled to work with an outdoor flag that has grommets for mounting, or an indoor flag with a pole sleeve. The kit includes a 2 piece oak pole that is 1.25" in diameter, a gold plastic spear top (appropriate for any flag display), a gold cord & tassel, a gold floor stand (you will need to fill it with sand upon arrival) and 2 gold rings for mounting the flag.
