Custom Artwork Requirements
Applique, Screen Print, Screen Dye or Cut Vinyl: Vector Files • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) up to version CS4, all vector with all text converted to outlines • Macromedia Freehand (.fhd) up to version MX, all vector with all text converted to paths • Vector EPS files (usually exported from Corel draw or one of the above programs) • Vector PDF files (usually exported from Corel draw or one of the above programs) Instant (Party) Banners : Vector Files This process requires VERY simple artwork. Layers, Small Objects (details), Bitmap Images and Open Objects can not be used. Email your logo to Cheryl@gettysburgflag.com to find out if it's able to be used for this process. • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) up to version CS4, all vector with all text converted to outlines • Macromedia Freehand (.fhd) up to version MX, all vector with all text converted to paths • Vector EPS files (usually exported from Corel draw or one of the above programs) Digital Print or Sublimation (includes all photo products): Vector (above) or Bitmap (below) • Any files listed above are best for any process (Vector) • Colors: Bitmap files should be in RGB color for all EXCEPT vinyl banners.Vinyl banner artwork should be supplied in CMYK color format. Vector files should specify pantone coated colors for best matching. • Photoshop (.psd), Tiff or JPG files in the full size of your finished product and at least 200dpi. Anything less with will noticeably pixilated on the finished product (stair-step looking edges). All colors, text & artwork supplied this way will not be able to be modified without artwork charges as this is not a vector file type. • Camera-Ready: This can be a high quality print from a good printer, a painting or drawing that is to be reproduced as-is, a photograph to reproduce, or similar artwork. Some artwork charges may be acquired if excessive time is needed to transfer to a digital file. Keep in mind that your artwork will be photographed or scanned to create a digital file and any blemishes will carry over. All colors, text & artwork supplied this way will not be able to be modified without artwork charges, as this is not a vector file type. Delays in receiving acceptable artwork may delay anticipated ship dates as will delays in the approval process. Delivery dates are calculated after final artwork approval. Art preparation charges of $65 per hour may apply to any artwork deemed not acceptable by the above requirements or requiring special cropping and layering. The star fields for our american flags are manufactured on large embroidery machines in a couple of warehouses in the USA.
