Applique is a process where your details are sewn onto the background of your banner or flag giving is a quilted feel. We made this 3x8' marching banner for a high school in Wisconsin. It's got a 3 color background with white lettering and silver music. This is a 3x5' appliqued flag for the Albany Police Department. It is mostly used as a display in the office and for parades. This whole flag is double-sided in order to read correctly from both sides of the flag.
